Information We Collect

We collect Instagram user IDs provided by Meta, message content, and timestamps transmitted through Instagram Direct Messages via Meta's official Messaging API, solely on behalf of authorized business accounts.

Business Customers vs. End Users

We act as a data processor on behalf of business customers (Instagram Business accounts). End users — individuals who send DMs to those businesses — have their message content processed solely to generate real-time responses within that conversation. We do not independently use, sell, or profile end-user data.

How We Use Information

Conversation data is used solely to generate real-time responses within the active conversation. It is not used for AI model training, advertising, or any secondary purpose.

Data Storage and Security

Conversation data is stored securely on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure within the United States. We use encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews to protect your information.

Data Retention

Conversation data is automatically deleted after 90 days. All prior versions of this policy are retained and available to Meta upon request.

Data Deletion Instructions

To request immediate deletion of your data, email privacy@silverlinkai.com with your Instagram username, or submit a request at silverlinkai.com/data-deletion. Requests are processed within 30 days.

Subprocessors

We use Amazon Web Services (AWS) for infrastructure. We use Anthropic strictly to generate real-time responses — Anthropic does not retain or use conversation data for model training. No data is shared with third parties for advertising or analytics.

Instagram Platform Data

We access instagram_business_manage_messages solely to receive and respond to direct messages on behalf of authorized business accounts. We request only the minimum permissions necessary to operate messaging functionality, in compliance with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. Contact privacy@silverlinkai.com. We will respond to all requests within 30 days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify affected businesses of any material changes. Continued use of our service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.

Payment and Billing

Subscription fees are billed monthly. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice to existing clients.

Intellectual Property

SilverLink AI and all associated technology remain the exclusive property of SilverLink AI. You retain ownership of your business data and client conversation content.

Limitation of Liability

SilverLink AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.

Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement with 30 days written notice. We reserve the right to terminate immediately for violations of these terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Orange County, California.
